A woman named Sam must survive an invasion in New York City by bloodthirsty alien creatures with ultrasonic sound hearing.
A Quiet Place is back, and this time, it’s hitting the cinema in a whole new way!
This film is a prequel to A Quiet Place (2018) and also to A Quiet Place Part II (2020).
A Quiet Place: Day One throws us into the terrifying first day of the alien invasion, this time in the heart of New York City.
Lupita Nyong’o, the fierce warrior from Wakanda, takes on a whole new kind of fight as Sam, an ordinary woman thrust into a life-or-death situation. Here, survival means navigating a maze of towering skyscrapers and deserted subway tunnels. Every creak of a metal fire escape, every rustle of a windblown newspaper becomes a potential death knell.
Joining Sam is Joseph Quinn, everyone’s favorite metalhead from Stranger Things, as Eric. Forced to team up despite the dangers, they must rely on their wits, muffled footsteps, and a whole lot of sign language to stay one step ahead of the blind but terrifyingly sensitive creatures.
From the trailer, this won’t be just horror, this will be terrifying! In A Quiet Place: Day One, the tension is crazy. You’ll be afraid to breathe, afraid to fidget, afraid to even think too loudly (seriously, maybe bring earplugs for the jump scares!). A single dropped coffee cup or a car alarm malfunction could mean instant annihilation.
But here’s the twist: New York may be a concrete jungle, but it also offers unique opportunities for survival. Imagine using the city’s intricate subway system to your advantage, or luring the creatures with clever sound traps amidst the abandoned buildings. A Quiet Place: Day One promises to be a fresh take on the franchise, offering a thrilling new environment with its own set of challenges and potential solutions.
I think this would be a great movie with a lot of thrills but we have to wait and see. Mark your calendars for June 28th!
Witness the city that never sleeps become the city that screams… silence. Will Sam and Eric find a way to survive the first day of the invasion? Will humanity learn to adapt and fight back against the unseen threat? One thing’s for sure – you won’t want to miss this movie.
